Margarita has been a dental assistant for over 10 years. She graduated from Carrington College studying dental assisting in 2015. She enjoys that dentistry always has new advancements so that she can always learn something new and provide our patients with better care. She enjoys being part of a strong team that always has the opportunity to help understand patients’ needs, making them feel more comfortable during each visit and improving their oral health, ultimately helping patients feel confident about their smiles. Margarita is passionate about educating our patients about their personalized treatment plans so they understand the importance of good oral health.
On her free time, she enjoys traveling to new places and attending music festivals.
Our head RDA, Carina, has been at our dental practice since graduating from College of San Mateo’s Dental Assisting Program in 2019. She feels honored to be part of the dental field and helping the community she grew up in. Carina enjoys making a positive change in people’s lives, in addition to educating our patients on the importance of good oral health. Her philosophy is that we all deserve to enjoy life with a confident smile. She is happy to be part of a team that provides a wonderful dental experience for our patients.
Carina enjoys cooking and nature walks in her free time. Mexican authentic dishes are her expertise and find it extremely therapeutic when prepping it. Some of her favorite places to visit for her nature walks are South Lake Tahoe and Pacifica.
Our hygienist, Kenya Pereda, graduated in 2014 from Foothill College through a highly-rated dental hygiene program. Before starting dental hygiene school, she began her dental career as front desk and then advancing to becoming a RDA as well. Kenya has been at our dental office for 17 years and practicing dental hygiene for over 10 years. She remains passionate about her field, always seeking to improve the oral health of our community.
When Kenya isn’t in the office, she enjoys hiking with her family, and listening and dancing to music. She also loves traveling to Mexico and visiting the ocean there.
When you arrive at our practice, Yuri will greet you with a big smile. She is a Redwood City native and is so happy to have the opportunity to serve the community she grew up in.
Yuri is very family-oriented and loves her 4 children. You will feel her kindness as she helps you schedule your next appointments and assists with your administrative needs.
